DS smashed window - cost to replace??

so, DS1 smashed a single glazed, single pane, window today. Insurance offices shut, and as we didn't take out the extra emergency whatnot, can't get anyone till Monday.
Does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to get a glazier to replace the broken pane? It's about 102cm x 64cm. Old wooden frame.
Not sure if worth going via insurance and risking rise in premium. Although the wifie on the phone said even if we DIDN'T, then our premiums might go up anyway...??
TIA.

We got a broken window-pane a little bit smaller than that replaced for £95 recently.

Definitely not worth going via insurance. The general rule with insurance that, unless it's a big, big claim, you will end up paying it back many times over. Did you phone the insurers up, then?

Thanks. I called but only got to the broker not the company. Wanted to see if worth claiming but seemingly not. Will call a glazier tomorrow.

Really wouldn't bother with insurance. You could probably fix it yourself. I broke a window when I was around fourteen and my mum made me replace the glass myself (with her guidance). It was very straightforward, although as that was a garage window there was no need for perfectly smooth putty.
