Boiler flue - advice please

Hi, I live in a 2 bed roomed terrace, so not a lot of external wall space, and all windows can be opened.

Flue currently is only about 1ft away from nearest window. If I get it moved there is literally nowhere that is the required 5ft from an opening door or window. Really don't want to go through roof (combi boiler is in kitchen on ground floor).

I am not tall enough to reach over work tops to open the windows anyway, so would the flue be compliant if I found some way of permenantly locking the Windows (UPVC double glazed)? Think the one furthest from the flue is just about 5ft, so could leave that as it is.

Flues can have diverter kits added to the end. Often this goes up or sideways to avoid a window, car-port or something. Look up the installation instructions for the boiler you have in mind to see how close it can be to openings in the building (not just windows)

A window has to be a genuine fixed, non-opening one. Not just one that you say you will not open.

Thanks PigletJohn. It's a Worcester Greenstar 24i. If I am reading diagram correctly it says 30cm from opening and 15cm from drainpipe. It might meet opening requirements, but def not drainpipe, so will arrange a quote for diverter.

Where did 5ft come from?

30cm is one foot.
