Joining in conservatory

We currently have a conservatory linked to our living room with a sliding patio door. The conservatory leads to the garden with patio doors, and to our kitchen with a narrow (normal single doorway). We're thinking of making the doorway bigger between kitchen and conservatory with double doors opening into the conservatory. Do I replace the living room sliding doors or not? I wondered if double opening doors would be nicer but then would there be too many doors in one room? Aargh! Sorry, very convoluted description!
