Replacement for miro mini shower

My shower needs a new cartridge due to limescale and time.

Can I replace this with any shower thermostat? I want one with an anti-limescale function so I don't need to replace in another 5 years - live in v hard water area.

I've been looking at the ideal standard ceratherm 60.

Do I need to then replace the shower set too or do the shower hoses come in standard sizes?

I've been looking on a German site that someone posted about earlier in the month and savings look pretty good.
