Boiling water taps ?

Combined wisdom:

Would you go with quooker or something else ?

The perfect one for me is combined with a kitchen tap that has filtered water (in my dreams sparkling filtered water) and a smart tank (ie either goes to sleep when not used or learns when it should be on).

Does a quooker fit the bill ?

Parents have quooker and are about to get another. Very jealous as they are absolutely excellent

We got an Itho boiling water tap when we had our kitchen done. I chose Itho over Quooker because it was a lot less expensive (about £600 compared to about £1000 iirc), it boiled to 100C (some brands don't), came with a 5 year guarantee, and the boiler unit is designed to go under the kickboard so didn't use any precious cupboard space. It also has a filter.

I love it - one of my favourite things in our new kitchen.

We have a quooker combined tap. It's great for boiling water for drinks, and always means there is some hot water to wash up, but because all the hot water comes from the tank if I want to do lots of washing up it sometimes runs out and I can't access my massive hot water tank. Wish I had a boiling tap and a regular tap really.

I wanted sparkling water as well but the cost of the cartridges made it seem a very expensive way to get it - so I just buy bottles still.

It does take up most of a cupboard.

We have a quooker, but didn't need the combo boiler because we have gas heating.

It has only been a few weeks, but I adore it. So easy and quick (and definitely boiling)
