Has anyone had a quote for a Siematic or Hacker kitchen?

Hoping to get a handleless all-singing all-dancing bespoke kitchen - has anyone got (or seen) a kitchen by Siematic or Hacker? Heard they are good but I don't know the real lowdown.

Has anyone got them or ever considered them? Are they totally rip-off or are the carcasses and hardwear great quality?

I think Siematic are mega bucks. 50k +. Could be wrong though. We had a £25k quote for a Hacker kitchen. Large L shape with island including appliances and quartz worktop. Great quality but more entry level German kitchen I'd say.

Thanks lasize - £25k for a large kitchen seems less than we thought, so that's good news. A large L shape with island, nice worktop plus aplplainces is basically what we'll be looking for. What brand did you go for in the end? I can't seem to find any brands between Hacker and Siematic (if we stick to that sort of aesthetic).

We'll probably ask Siematic to quote just to we can cry at the price.

we have 18 month old Hacker kitchen which cost well under £20k in a mix of white and wood, all drawers (even under the sink, which turned out to be a bit of a nightmare) but included ovens, induction hob dishwasher, extractor and fridge. All Siemens and Neff. 9 m wall cabinets and drawers to the ceiling in total.
Builder fitted it and his comments were that the quality of manufacture , materials used and even the packaging of the units shipped to us was far superior than any other company that he had fitted for in 15 years. Not a single mistake. And it is proving to be very durable and forgiving in practice.
I can't recommend Hacker enough"

We have a hacker kitchen. Paid 16ish for units, appliances, sink, tap, worktops and fitting. It's nice and decent quality but not as good as the Alno kitchen in our last place.

Thanks ginjo that's interesting (to me, temporary-kitchen-bore. Not to anyone else!). Do you remember if your kitchen is the Classic or Systemat range? I'll take a look at Alno.

I'm not certain but looks like it might be classic. It's handle-less and something said Laser soft GL. Our kitchen isn't huge but it has a large peninsula/island. The designer cut down on complicated units to save costs but we have quite a few big drawers and some wall cupboards with built in lights. I.e. It's not super basic but not all singing all dancing. The worktops are silestone. They came and fitted in a completely prepared room (wiring done, plastered, painted, new floor fitted)

It's a really nice kitchen and I'm very pleased with it but, by comparison, our Alno one was the top line and we had pull out units, internal drawers in the cupboards , corner units. The cost of the units alone was double the hacker one (similar size kitchen)

We just had a Siematic kitchen installed - we couldn't afford a new one so bought an ex-display one (it was 18 months old and looked brand new). It cost £10k and we paid £7k to have it installed by local fitters (including the worktops). We are really pleased with it and think it looks fantastic - the fitters commented on the quality of the carcasses and it really does have an expensive feel.

Would definitely recommend doing it this way!

I've just had a handleless gloss Hacker kitchen installed in my new kitchen extension. Kitchen size is 35 square metres and it cost £37k. I went for the top-of-the-range doors and all Siemens appliances. The worktop is quartz.

Quality appears to be excellent and the carcasses seems tough. I guess only time will tell.

I have a quote for a Hacker Siematic Kitchen and an Alno kitchen. I'm confused as I had heard of Ano and they marketing is very strong, great catalogue, however, Hacker are less well known but fantastic customer service and design. I have read forums stating both are good quality kitchens. Both price plans are the same. Which kitchen do I go for- Branded or non brand and why?

These guys in knightsbridge use Systemat and they are lovely and if these guys use them they must be VV good...... if you are in or near london well worth a look..... we nearly bought the white and wood one in the photos then the budget required spending on much more boring items....!

We have a Hacker kitchen, fitted 3 years ago. It is this one and was approx £35k fitted. Lots of appliances in there (two ovens, warming drawer, gas wok burner, electric teppan grill, induction hob, downdraft extractor and standard one, two dishwashers, boiling hot water tap, fridge and freezer and quite a lot of Corian! We are very pleased with it, it's standing up very well so far and the service from LWK was excellent, their fitter was also fantastic. I hate my Siemens fridge though!

Seimatic quote for our large kitchen was over £150k all in but that was top end, we went bespoke in the end. Hacker was significantly less but I couldn't find a range I liked.

If you are anywhere near SE London, Dulwich Design Kitchens on Grove Vale in East Dulwich (SE22) do Hacker Kitchens. You can have a browse in their showroom and chat to the friendly designer (I think her name is Svaja). If you are planning to go on a weekend make sure you make an appointment if you do want to sit with her as it gets very busy.

Thank you to everyone above. Interestingly I have been to LWK, based in Canary Warf who supply Hacker Kitchens. The designer has given an excellent service and kitchen layout - supply only at £22K, taking advantage of the Jan Sales which end this weekend, hence my dilemma and pressure to make a decision. I've also had the same layout priced by Alno and they claim to be a superior kitchen to Hacker and are prepared to price match. Service from The Alno designer has been ok. They too have a sale on furniture which is making the kitchen affordable. I meant Hacker Systemat range not Siematic ( another German Kitchen- far too high end). I've looked at Balthaup - same kitchen coming in at £40K. It comes down to Alno v. Hacker Systemat. Any one know if Alno is 'superior' quality to Hacker?

I have a construction company and use Dulwich Design Kitchen based in East Dulwich who specialise in Hacker kitchens. They are a great local company, providing a very detailed service who even go to site throughout the installation process. I am constantly recommending them to my clients as I have used them for the last 2 years. Hacker furniture itself is great to install, we have installed a few of them over our time and can say first hand that they are very good quality carcasses and furniture comes assembled not flat packed. Hope that helps!
