Can anyone advise on 'perfect fit' blinds?

I've been looking at blinds for French doors with fixed windows either side.

The room is South facing so we need something to stop the sun ruining the furniture but I'd still like it to let light in so I though Venetian blinds tilted upwards most of the time might work.

I like plantation shutters but it's a big area so they are really expensive, then I found 'perfect fit' blinds.

Are they any good?

Can you get wooden ones? I'm a bit worried the plastic ones might look a bit cheap or office like.

That's good to hear- its blinds2go I've been looking at too.

I got the samples through and the slats look quite narrow- can they be tilted upwards so some light gets in but it doesn't shine straight through so the furniture won't fade?

We got them fitted on the French door in our Kitchen a few months ago - I really wanted shutters but they were just too expensive. We went with the white wood finish and they look fantastic, every one comments on them.

The slats are quite narrow but they can absolutely be tilted and adjusted.

They look much nicer fitted that they did in the brochure.
