Mid range quality

Not including tiles

I've had a quote of £6k and building is allowing us £2k so the total true spend is £8k.

I think this seems really high, am I deluded?!

new house is a money pit

For bathroom, ensuite & 2 cloakrooms we've been quoted 5k without tlies (NI) by 2 different suppliers. I thought our Quotes were reasonable tbh.

We've been quoted £5k just for a very small cloakroom so those quotes sound very reasonable to me.

Is that fitted or just for the goods?

bathroom loo, basin, bath, cloakroom loo and basin, ensuite shower, basin, loo. To buy that mid-range could cost £2k. More if roll top bath, posh shower enclosure, showers, bathroom cabinets, flooring, replastering walls.

If you're replacing it all in the same place fitting maybe another £2k.

Your quotes are maybe a be a bit high if no other extras.
