Brick dust - heeeeeelp!

We've recently finished a two story extension and moved back in last weekend.

Even though we had professional cleaners in for 2 days (who did a fab job) there's just fucking dust everywhere as it seems to breed overnight! Sonething I've cleaned the day before just has a fine layer of dust again in the morning, plus it's still in all the nooks and crannies!

What is the best way to get it under control? A guy was in doing some flooring this week and he said it's pretty much just a case of time!

Have you tried damp dusting so you are actually removing the dust rather than pushing it around?

You need to vacuum your nooks and crannies to prevent the dust in them being blown around or resettling on your surfaces. Then as Wow said, damp dusting to remove as much as possible. Takes a few gos but will soon clear.

Try adding a few drops of oil (any oil will do, veggie, sunflower etc) to the water when you mop or damp dust too. It picks up the dust much better and means you're not just spreading it around as you try to clean.
