Tenancy Surrender Letter

Morning ladies,

Was up till very late last night googling a format to use but unable to find a straightforward one.

LL has agreed to an early surrender of tenancy but I need to send a formal letter. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to word it?

Thank you

*Re: tenancy agreement dated xxxxxx in respect of [insert property address]

Further to our telephone conversation/email exchange/meeting delete as appropriate of [insert relevant date] it was mutually agreed that the above tenancy will end on xxxxxx and the final rent payment of £xxx will be made on xxxxxx.

Arrangements for a final inventory check will be made in due course.

Signed by ............... (Tenant) on xxxxxx

Signed by ............... (Landlord) on xxxxxx

You both need to sign two copies so you each have a fully executed one for your own records. I would also add witness details for both signatures as an extra safeguard.

HTH

Asterisk at very beginning was to embolden - I forgot the one at the end of that line of text. Apologies for any confusion.
