Sink/ drainer that isn't part of a worktop

Has anyone got one of the sinks that seem to sit upon a unit, rather than be a cut-out of a work top ? (hope this makes sense, I'm not sure of the terminology).
I can't find a supplier - probably because I don't know what to look for!

Right, yes I know what you're on about.

It depends what you want. Do you just want one that covers the whole top of a unit? If so look at Astracast Bistro for an example, though it is by no means the only one or the cheapest!

Ikea used to make a stand alone sink unit if you haven't got actual units and want one with legs. They stopped making it but you can get them on Ebay (Udden I think it was called but might be wrong)

We don't have any worktop really or any units as we just pulled out our entire kitchen, which didn't take long as it's tiny, but I've now got a stand alone commercial sink unit (see pic below) which is superb. Expect to pay around £200-300 for one of those.

(although I still don't know what that type is called!)

I think the term is a sit on sink.
