Can you imagine Christmas around the fire? www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-47806475.html

It's photo 9 that's the shocker, and sorry about the black square.

Just looking at the photos makes me feel claustrophobic!

The bedroom is tiny too.

Its a wee cottage, quite sweet.

Is that a stuffed dog in pic 10?

The furniture in the lounge really doesn't help it. One of those bedrooms would be better advertised as a single bedroom. Suppose it should be easy to clean seeing as there is not much of it

That's so funny. Well at least you don't have to stretch to put your feet on the coffee table!
You think they might have moved one of those sofas for the pics and straightened the bed covers!

Tiny cottage but terrible furnishings, just way, way too big and far too many.

I like it... Our cottage is smaller, and has 4 of us, a Labrador and a cat Blush

The price makes me feel faint for something so small. Is that in the south east?

Candustpleasefuckoff · 23/09/2014 20:23

You'd need to be slim and bendy to clean that lounge and definitely not clumsy. No room for imprecise movement, no rogue elbows or long strides. Maybe a good lounge for EKL to clean?!

Yes south east. Prices are depressing.

You must have to climb onto the coffee table and fall backwards onto the sofa.

Potentially quite a sweet little cottage - it would make a nice first home.

Wins the prize for unnecessary coffee table, if you need somewhere to rest a glass of wine, what's wrong with a small table next to the arm of the sofa?

My mums living room is a bit like this with a HUGE coffee table. DH sits on a dining chair when we visit.

Report
doobledootch · 23/09/2014 22:56

Well the table is way too big but that's a similar size house to mine, we don't all have the opportunity to live in mansions.

LaurieFairyCake · 23/09/2014 22:59

11 by 10 is not that small

Sofas are just too big for the room

It's quite sweet. But crikey, look at the price! Is that normal?

wfielder · 23/09/2014 23:22

Those are the exact kitchen chairs I'm after.

Minus the dust.

It's an almost identical size and layout to a previous house of mine. Cheaper too!

The front door opens into the lounge, look, so you're very restricted on what you can do with the furniture.

Report
Crutchlow35 · 24/09/2014 18:48

It's not bad. Photos are dreadful. It needs a good declutter and the sofas are way too big for the space.

Report
MollyBdenum · 24/09/2014 18:54

I think it's nice, and not particularly small. It just has the wrong furniture in the sitting room.

That's bigger than my living room.

Hence our lone sofa, no coffee table and basket of floor cushions for the children

It's a nice house. They just need to take some furniture out.

I'd knock the dividing wall down and have a through lounge diner. Loads more space!
