following on from another thread about whether to bifold or not bifold these slide and swing doors were mentioned.

I really like the look of them, wondered I'd anyone had any experience?

trying to find somewhere to view them near London, only found Luton so far

thank you

Have you looked at Cantifix. Have a london postcode but that's maybe the Luton one you mentioned. Advice I've read on here is to go along to one of the ideal home shows or grand design shows where you'll get a chance to see several bespoke glazing specialists at once.

We drove to Luton yesterday, they were ok. We preferred the ones with a thin surround rather than frameless but we have a 4m gap and that would mean 5 doors of 80cm which we don't want. We also looked at a London company-but we went to a customers house. They were great but expensive.
Ultimately I don't think they are that different from bifold with a bit more flexibility. We are now just having two big sliding doors. Pm me if you need more info.

thank you superram, good to know. is the factory In any way child friendly for toddlers.....? we both want to see products but may have to take turns with the dc in the car

we will only have a 3.1m gap, don't want French or sliding, and bifolds seem best but don't quite fit our requirements 100%. we also need to replace an existing upvc french door, soon to be internal room divider. they do the same product single glazed so hoping that it would look better with matching doors.

Sorry to intrude Superram but which door did you pick in the end and what company did you go to? Thanks
