Does anyone know what I can lay over encaustic tiles?

Without causing moisture problems and whilst retaining the floor underneath?

Have looked at livloc vinyl flooring but on their website it says if you have moisture coming up through a concrete subfloor (which I presume I have?) then this will damage the vinyl.

Anything I can put down over them? Preferably in a wood effect?

Sorry it says moisture arising from a concrete subfloor will damage the floor. Not sure if that makes a difference.

If you have moisture coming up through the floor you can treat it in a couple of ways. Either a breathable coating, which will affect whatever you put on it (obvs) or a surface damp proof membrane, which should seal the floor. Altro and Ardex both do surface DPMs. They are probably a good place to start. You will need to remove any glaze on the tiles, probably with a floor grinder.
