blinds2go - any good?

Looking at wide, wide, wooden blinds and made to measure is faintingly expensive. Have spied blinds2go, look very reasonable, but has anyone used them?

I hope so, I've ordered some roman blinds from them and so far they have kept me up to date with the progress and they should be here in a couple of days. They were very quick at sending out samples of fabric and other people have posted reviews and seem impressed so I hoping I will be too!

Blinds2go were great (ordered wooden blinds for living room, office and all bedrooms 5 or so years ago). Good service and although one of the blinds was faulty, it was replaced immediately on contacting them. They also send samples of the blind slats.

Ooh, that's encouraging. I thought the price was a bit too good to be true.

Blinds to go are brilliant, I have just used them and another company for Roman's. Other companies were fine but folded up quite small so I have to leave with one fold down iyswim. Whereas blinds to go look beautiful, well made and delivered quite quickly actually.

I think they're the same company as TUISS (same address), may be getting them mixed up with someone else. But if they are, TUISS are brilliant but twice the price for exactly the same blind (apart from the logo on the blind).

Sunny funny you should say that, I got a sample of fabric from Blinds2go and it is slightly the wrong colour, so ordered another from Tuiss, which I hoped would be nearer the right colour and would have to swallow the cost if it was, as the blind was twice the price (why is purple such a difficult colour !). The samples are exactly the same but one is £80 and the other £140 !

I bet TUIS has a posh purple name and Blinds2Go is something like light purple!!

Thank you all. Sounds good. The online quote I had from Laura Ashley was £440 Shock; blinds2go say £103. I'm sure they can't be exactly the same, but really? I have checked my figures several times because this seems mad.

We used them last year for velux brand blinds (great, fast delivery). Went back for a bathroom one (waterproof) and found that they only do their own-brand waterproof version, not the velux brand one. However, it arrived quickly, was simple to fit. It does have a slightly ugly (and pointless) brush along the bottom edge and feels a bit cheaper than the Velux brand one when you screw it in and was not much cheaper! However it is waterproof, looks ok and is perfectly functional so far.... So I'd say they are pretty good...

Blinds2go... just had a really bad experience with them . The blind they made me was different to the sample they sent me . I wanted as per the sample with an olive stripe in and the blind had a silver stripe in. I complained immediately sending in pics of the two fabrics . They knew I had to have it sorted for this Monday as I was having estate agents pics done to sell it. They ignored my repeated questions about if this fabric was available to make a replacement blind .Two weeks later they still weren't able to tell me if their suppliers (their blinds are made abroad) had the fabric with the green in . I paid £54.84 for an 87cm wide ordinary roller blind - similar in B&Q etc is £12 but I wanted something with olive in. Yesterday they finally offered to take it back with a full refund or refund me £17.33. I have no time to find another blind the correct colour so backed me into a corner. Have taken their offer as I need a blind up for Monday so ended up paying nearly £40 for a blind I didn't order . The blind was originally ordered 4 weeks before pics were being taken . A poor way to do business .

AVOID BLINDS2GO I have ordered two sets of blinds on 9th April and one of them arrived broken. I contacted blins2go several times by phone and by e-mail and they always say the part is on its way. Today is the 21st May and it is been over a month I have been waking up every day at 5am because I cannot install the blinds I paid for 45 days ago. I have e-mails, pictures and phone calls record. Contract me with any queries. . AVOID BLINDS2GO.

I think the blinds are good value for money but they aren't great at fixing things when they go wrong. Ordered 4 blinds from them and none of them fitted properly

Just had a fab blackout roman blind made, fits perfectly, will definitely buy again and would recommend.

We've had three vertical blinds from blinds2go with no problems at all. Very nice quality and fast delivery.
Dh then ordered a couple more from 247blinds, also fast delivery but cost less, and I don't think they are as good quality. Nothing wrong with them at all, and they look great.

I had blinds from them. Apart from not sending the fixings in he first delivery which they sorted very quickly they were good and the blinds were easy to fit. Would recommend.

I ordered two blinds for my kitchen and they are perfect. Even my DH was able to fit them! The helpline is really good too.
