gorgeous

Not my cuppa tea at all!

MrsBucketxx Thu 21-Nov-13 13:54:06

Its nice, dont know if you could rejig to keep the bedrooms together.

Norudeshitrequired Thu 21-Nov-13 13:54:43

Pity they haven't run the central heating pipes under the floor.

GemmaTeller Thu 21-Nov-13 13:56:16

It just looks so sad.

Wishfulmakeupping Thu 21-Nov-13 13:56:40

The parquet floor is gorgeous

Pancakeflipper Thu 21-Nov-13 14:00:22

Oooh that needs some work but it could look amazing.

Those curtains are too short.

PontyPants Thu 21-Nov-13 14:02:40

YY agree layout a bit weird
And I would be V wary of scary looking repairs and what else is needed
But oh! the ceiling heights <swoon> and the floor <sigh> and the lovey windows <wistful>
(knocked arms on my ceiling putting on my top this morning) sad

Mintyy Thu 21-Nov-13 14:02:55

The curtains really bug me too pancake grin.

It could be like living in a mini stately home.

Thurlow Thu 21-Nov-13 14:05:57

Blimey, that needs a lot of work! £700,000 for 3 beds in that location is an absolute steal, it must need rewiring, replumbing, the lot.

But it is gorgeous.

Mintyy Thu 21-Nov-13 14:13:20

2,125 sq ft

Branleuse Thu 21-Nov-13 14:16:41

gorgeous!! I love it

I cant see past the curtains. Who hangs curtains that length?

TheSmallPrint Thu 21-Nov-13 14:22:14

Why are the curtains that short??

It looks cold. But could be beautiful.

Leopoldina Thu 21-Nov-13 14:22:40

lots like that in Hampstead for £2m... very Strawbery Hill gothic. Lovely (once it's been comprehensively worked on...). Would enlarge the kitchen into the adjacent bedroom for big / windowed eat in kitchen &turn the smaller recep into a bedroom. Heck of a trot in the night to get to the loo!

Iris445 Thu 21-Nov-13 14:26:08

I also stalled on th curtains....for quite a while..who does hinge curtains that length?

Needs to loose a bedroom and gain a kitchen.

Don't like the fireplaces or panelling but ceiling are great, windows good ( minus half mast curtains) light good.

It's a lot of cash though, London :-(

ShoeWhore Thu 21-Nov-13 14:27:20

I thought that too Leopolda - then you have the bedrooms together.

With a bit of work that place would be jaw droppingly stunning.

ChippingInLovesAutumn Thu 21-Nov-13 14:30:06

Very much 'not my thing'.

It's clear that the curtains share my love of parquet flooring grin

Iris445 Thu 21-Nov-13 14:31:00

I loved the floor! :-)

They must have measured them wrong??

PontyPants Thu 21-Nov-13 14:35:33

I didn't notice the curtains - went back to look
I reckon some feckwit washed em, no?

MarshaBrady Thu 21-Nov-13 14:37:29

Looks very draughty, bit chilly.

Must be huge rooms at that sq ft.

Gileswithachainsaw Thu 21-Nov-13 14:38:01

Perfect for an episode of most haunted grin

I wouldn't wanna be there at night that's for sure <shudder>

It just looks old and haunted and creepy

YoureBeingASillyBilly Thu 21-Nov-13 14:48:09

Needs a shit load of work done but could look amazing. Very much my cuppa tea smile

Just down the road from me! Beautiful but would cost a fortune to heat!

valiumredhead Thu 21-Nov-13 23:42:10
