We're having our windows and doors done (9 windows; 1 set french doors; 3 doors) and I've had one quote for £5200 and one for £6000. Both FENSA, both inc VAT, both 10 year guarantee, both A-rated.
Which one do I choose?! The only real difference is the cheaper quote uses Liniar and the other Duraflex as manufacturers (we need bog standard white uPVC as we're mid-terrace and if we go for something else it will look ridiculous, much as I dislike it). That and I got a bit of hard sell off Mr 6k and I didn't on the other. Both are local companies though Mr 6k is round the corner and the other is in Aylesbury.
The reviews for both are excellent. How do I choose?! I'm waiting on another quote to be confirmed but it's looking like everything's going to be very close. Do any of you have any words of wisdom?
