Gut keys for house on fri, noticed bathroom paint is peeling.

I want to paint it today, before We move in tomorrow, but don't know what colour.

Room is huge 12 x 15ft, suite is white from the fifties, floor is blue grey Lino and woodwork varnished pin

more than a day to do it properly. You need to sand off the peeling paint, the 'DIY in an hour' jobs you see on telly last 10 minutes.

leave it for now. And if the room hasn't been touched since the fifties , peeling paint may be the least of your problems.

Good advice ! But if you are determined - maybe go for a fun colour that you've always fancied using but were never brave enough ! As pretty much every colour goes with white ! Just remember that this is a short term 'quick tart up '. George Clarke would suggest white I bet !! ( me - I'd go for F&B Charlestone gray - as warm but neutral ! ) good luck with the move tomorrow ! Hope it's dry !! :-)

and an extractor fan or the new paint will peel too.

Thanks for the tips

Only slight peeling, I think the previous tenants didnt air it enough, but no ajor damage as far as I can see.

We have gone for a light brown. One coat done, and another in the week after work, should do temporarily

Long term plan is to start again as current bathroom has a weird use of space!
