Oven and separate hob have simultaneously died... time for a Rangemaster?

Evening ladies,

I've always had a secret desire to have a nice big range cooker (I love cooking, so the idea of lots of hobs and 2 ovens is part of my version of heaven) but never thought I'd be able to justify buying one.

However, the big oven of my built-in double oven and my completely separate hob have now simultaneously died, and right at the point that we have been starting to move our kitchen around anyway (honestly fate, no sabotage on my part) so I'm wondering whether to get a range.

After an evening of browsing I like the look of the Rangemaster Professional+ 110, was was wondering if anyone has any experience of this and if so if you'd recommend it or not?

All thoughts gratefully received!

We have the Professional Plus with an induction hob.

I rarely cook, but my dh cooks every day and it is his pride and joy. Worth every penny, he reckons!

I've been doing a lot of research and for my budget the professional + is looking the best option too. Only a 90 though. I'm dubious I can get away with bigger in the new kitchen!

Puffyshirt - thank you... and you lucky lady having a DH whose pride and joy is the cooker rather than a car!

Helliecopter - thanks for sharing your research. I think I'm pushing it going for the 110 but I really want the 2 ovens!

Yes, lemon, but we have had it a year and I don't know how to work it! On the odd occasion I cook, the kids have to show me how to switch it on.

We ended up getting the matching hood too (in cream). I didn't think I wanted a traditional chimney type affair - but it looks very nice.

I've got the professional +110 gas in cranberry. I 've had it two years and its great. I had a classic 110 before at previous house. I use the wok ring a lot and the two largest rings are very quick. I do a lot of cooking and baking and never had any problems. I would always recommend them and the delivery direct from AGA/Rangemaster was excellent.I got it through www.cookersandovens.co.uk who were the cheapest at the time- i think they are a subsiduary of A/R.

I have had my Rangemaster 110 Excel for about 3 months now and I love it. We went for an induction hob, having always had gas before, and I am so pleased with it, it is just as responsive as gas and so much easier to clean.
I chose the Excel because I like it's symmetry and I really wanted the warming drawer/slow oven.
Hope that helps.
