Hi. I cannot find an online company that will do such long curtains. Would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.

Thanks but I don't saw - curtains need need to be 276 drop, not 3m, and they need to be interlined with thermal fabric. Really need a made to measure online place.

Can you not find a local curtain maker? I ordered my fabric online. Lovely lady ran it up into curtains the following week. She did a great job.

Can John Lewis not do it? I think you have to go into a shop to order but IIRC they have a basic 7-day service and then a more bespoke service where I'm sure you can have anything you like.

Also try Dunelm or Laura Ashley, if you haven't already.

From Laura Ashley website:

Max. track or pole width to order = 515cms per pair, max length = 366cms.

The ikea ones include an iron edge tape to hem it at the right length. :-)

I bought some 3m drop natural coloured Ikea curtains and customised them by adjusting the length, added blackout lining plus changed them to a pencil pleat heading. Cost approx. £30 for all materials. Saved tons!

Definitely recommend The Natural Curtain Company as another poster recommended - excellent service and gorgeous fabrics Smile

I love the Natural Curtain Company, I have used them in the past. The fabric I want for my curtains is from them. BUT, the description of the fabric says that it's for a maximum drop of 250cm. If they could make them, the whole thing would cost me around £320. John Lewis or my local haberdashery shop will be at the very least, double!

We had curtains made for our bay window which have a drop of 295cm. We used this online company.

They are thermal lined. We used them again for some other shorter curtains that were blackout lined. Really good, well priced and helpful. I would highly recommend them. I think you said you have already for fabric. I'm not sure if they would make them using your fabric, I think with the online places you have to use their fabric.

Have you looked at Kurtinz. They have a huge range of fabrics, and made some huge curtains for us in Romo Linara.

Thank you Jenny. I had dismissed Kurtinz because I have usually found them way more expensive than others, but they have 40% off at the moment so I have ordered a few samples. This could work! Smile
