Ive redesigned my tiny galley kitchen ,on a budget using existing units etc, as a result , i now have no drawers . i do have a spare 400mm cupboard that i could convert into drawer unit but cant find any thing cheap enough so im looking for some nifty storage for cutlery, teatowels, clingfilm etc. also something to make my corner cupboard more accessible so that i use the wasted space that i cant reach. I am also thinking of buying some free standing shelves that will take the weight of my cookery books , does anyone have any ideas please? also suggestions for a nice cheery colour for the walls , white units and terracotta tiled floor.

I'd use a sage green on the walls.

What about a back of the door unit for the clingfilm etc?

Corner cupboard - put things on trays. (Literally, tea trays). To get to the back, you take out the first tray and slide the back tray along so you can see it.

Drawers: you could use the Ikea wire baskets, might need to take the back off the unit to get them to fit though. Or use runners like these to make some drawers.

have many many solutions for kitchens and lots of other rooms too - they do wooden drawer boxes and runners or wire baskets that could solve your dilemma ... think Jamie's kitchen on TV - he has bare drawer boxes in an open cabinet - if it's good enough for him ... don't forget to add the nifty name cards on the front of the drawers too !! :-)
