Home Report-how long does it take to get one?!

Er, just that, really. We're in Scotland. I called in to my estate agent, paid for the Home Report on Friday and they said the surveyor would contact me directly to arrange access asap. Now Wednesday afternoon and still nothing...I'm gnawing my hands a bit because we know there is a possibility of a private buyer but we can't even show him the flat or do anything else about it until we get the sodding Home Report.

Anyone have experience of how long it takes? I'm about to chase it up with the agents but I am trying not to look like an unreasonable loon.

Not unreasonable, if you know the firm of surveyors you could phone them yourself. Ours was done within 24 hours of estate agent requesting, they emailed us the survey thing and think it was online within two days. I'd chase them up!
