I'd be very grateful for recommendations for building extensions in London

Hello all

Currently live in a 2-bed flat in London and have found out (slight surprise) that am pregnant. There is some scope for extending the flat to create (for now) a dining room/extra living area and shower room, later to become an en suite bedroom.

We wouldn't be doing this to make money (ie increase in value from work) as much as making it possible to stay in the house a bit longer, cutting a move out of the equation, and therefore saving on stamp duty. However, I wouldn't want to spend more than it added, but break even would be ok. To try to get a sense of this am getting hold of quotes.

I wondered if any had used a company that does the whole design and building process, and had a good enough experience to recommend them?

Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Where in London are you? I don't have experience but on looking for our own quotes I have discovered that most firms are surprisingly local.

Congrats on your surprise !
