Please Help - Choosing where to Live in Herts/Bucks?

Hello - DH and I are looking to buy in either Amersham, Croxley Green, Kings Langley, Abbots Langley or North Watford. Possibly Garston, although we do not know it as well.

We have a budget of up to £450k and are looking for a friendly safe neighbourhood, local amenities and good primary schools.

Any advice would be really appreciated!
