Have a dulux one (one of the blue ones with sort of greyish bristles some white). It's pants and keeps losing bristles. I need to order some new ones online today as got loads to do in a short space of time. Also rollering. Any top tips peeps? I had a go with a sheepskin one earlier, more of a technique problem than the roller being shite I think. DP reckons you have to do it in short jerky movements Grin but even then I seem to load too much paint on. Tried using some of the same paint to cut in at the edges and it did seem awfully thick (dulux endurance).

Any help gratefully received.

I nowadays prefer buying a few sets of really cheap brushes. I find they dont shed any more than the most expensive, maybe less. The secret is to flex them a lot before using to get rid of any loose bristles. Then because they are so cheap you can throw them out when finished with instead of the faff of cleaning them.

Not a bad idea. Have looked at the Harris website and ordered some from there but might cancel as they take too long to deliver and the option for next day isn't there.

Just finished a load of painting... I had a pack of 5 'fine finish brushes' from homebase, which I liked. No shedding. They cleaned up easily enough if I cleaned them quickly-ish.
And a big fat Harris one for the mist coat on new plaster.
