exterior wall coating....how much?

got a quote today from weathercote
for one side of house
two thirds of wall is painted and it's in a sorry state , paint has all flaked off

guy quoted £1800 for one wall

said it would be 4-5 days work

anyone else had it done? how much did you pay?

I worked out I could have my house painted every 5 years (which I think is probably more frequent than necessary) for the next 30 years for the same price as weathercote.

yup we're not going ahead with it...will prob just paint
it's not an old house.. built in '86
