What height/depth for a window seat please?

Contemplating this before my builder asks me the question.....so am (probably) having a window seat in our bay window. I would like it to be a comfortable seat! So, please, if you have one that is good what are the dimensions please? Similarly if it is not comfortable is i too high/low/shallow and what are the dimensions please?

Would be gutting to get it wrong if I can avoid it - and I know, I know, it probably means getting the pesky tape measure out....pretty, pretty please.....

Height of a dining chair. Depth that you can fit a commercially available seat cushion on. Have a look on the Internet and get dimensions from that.
