Recommended pest control in Kent

Hi

Anyone know a good pest control company that covers the Kent area - basically we thought we have the odd one or two rats but this morning it was clear to hear more than two of them running and scratching about in the attic. I called the council they put down bait but thats all - I thought they would go in the attic find how they got into the attic and either a) tell us where the hole(s) are so that (a) we close it up or (b) close it for us. But they didn't do either.

Is this common with pest control companies - that they don't locate and/ or cover the hole? My parents arent able to go up to the attic and I have a ladder phobia - yes weird I know.

Any advice/ recommendations on good pest control companies would be welcomed :o)

The guy did walk around the house but could not locate how they are getting in - he thinks the drains but before I spend close to £250 having CCTV survey done I want to exhaust other possibilities.
