Getting a second opinion from electric supplier

hi all.

We need some work doing our electrics. Had a couple of sparkies in and general concensus is partial rewire, new circuit board and tidying up - moving sockets etc. Been quoted £1.5k.

DFIL has suggested we get eon (our leccy supplier) round for a sense check. This sounds a little bit OTT, but wonder if other people do this?
