Anybody tried this shade. I was wondering if was a beigey pinky or creamy sort of neutral. I've got the paint chart but it's a bit difficult to tell what it will be like on the walls.

It's sort of a stone colour. IMO it is very very slightly pinky but only very slightly.

I've got a test patch up on a few walls in a couple of rooms atm. It's very different in different lights. I'd say pinky stone myself...

Thanks it does sound nice. And different in different lights sounds interesting too. I daren't bring another match pot in the house. I've been painting on sheets of paper for the last few weeks and can't make a decision. Doesn't help that I sometimes forget to write the name of the colour on it and have to start all over again! Haven't got one for slipper satin yet.

W e have it in lots of places. It is slightly pinker, but just in the way that it seems a 'warm' color rather than grey-ish or yellow-ish. We have it in the kitchen, under a dado in the hall and in our bedroom (!). It's very easy to live with and I like the way it looks in natural and artificial light.

That's really kind of you to offer Ruby. But I can easily get a matchpot tin and try it out. I'm feeling quite drawn to it now. I think a pinky tone will be nice.

Slatey-cream. not pink here. In all our common parts (hallways, landings, stairs etc)

It's a lovely warm neutral cream. We have it EVERYWHERE and it gets lots of compliments.
