Blinds for Bifold Doors

Hi all,

I've recently got some new bifold doors installed which I'm incredibly happy with. Shame I didn't get them put in during the summer to get more use out of them this year!

My problem now is that we're coming into winter and I think it would look too stark to have really big windows left bare. I've looked online for ideas but I'm really looking for something a bit more modern and sleek - I'm not keen on the idea of curtains or vertical blinds.

Any suggestions?? Many thanks in advance

There are three options shown here

pinoleum blinds (basically like thin bamboo) - perhaps not v modern though

roller blinds

pleated blinds

Another v modern idea is sliding fabric panels - eg Ikea does a track system which means you could slide the panels across the doors. But you couldn't fold them away entirely unless there is space to slide them either side of the doors.

The roller blinds look really nice and modern, I'll see if a company local to me do them - thanks for the suggestions!

Take a look at the ones below, again roller blinds. They may be the kind of thing you're looking for and I'm sure a local company could do a similar thing.

Good luck
