how much roughly for upvc french doors? and fitting?

i would like to have french doors put in my dining room, just basic 2 door no frills ones and was wondering how much it would cost? i would want them professionally fitted.

we were quoted £1500 for the doors, fitting and clean up about six months ago. that was for a standard size so no extras and with a well known company up north Grin.

We just bought some from a company up North. They cost around 450 for the maximum width (1750cm). You could ask for a couple of quotes on fitting, but if they're charging a grand for the fit I'd be a bit Hmm. To be honest, I think you could get it a lot cheaper than 1.5k, but if you want to go with Everest or Anglian then it may be expensive.

I paid £800 with a local independent for supply and fit in Kent.

oo that sounds better, will look at small companies and give the big firms a miss.

I think we paid about £800 for ours about 5 years ago, they were extra tall doors and had two windows over the top. Local companies definately give the best deals.
