Looking for a flat

Our landlady has surprisingly terminated our tenancy agreement last night. With a baby due in August not what one needs to hear. Any suggestions for a new flat to rent in London (Shadwell, Tower Hill, London Bridge, Farringdon, Bethnal Green, Mile End etc.) most welcome. We would be looking to move in April.
Thanks very much.

What's your budget?

Looking on the bright side at least it's not at the last minute. Although still a total pain I'm sure!

We didn't move while I was pregnant but we've moved 3 times in the 2 years since DS was born, not fun! (But we're happy where we are now thankfully Smile).

What is your budget? And would it have to be a flat? Would you consider a house?

Indeed - timing could be worse...

We would be looking at around GBP250-300 per week, preferably at the lower end and cheaper would always be a bonus. We do consider both, flat or house. Whatever comes along.

The rental market is a nightmare at the moment. Not enough stock and lot's of people looking as they cannot buy. 6 weeks before you want to move (not before as Agencies will want tenants to move more quickly) you need to speak with all the agencies and view/make decisions quickly. There are currently 4/5 tenants for each rental property (more for the good ones) so you need to be prepared to close it fast if you see one you like. Best of luck. Tracy

Thanks buyingagent for the useful tips. Making quick decisions is not my strongest point but I guess some useful skill to learn...
