i want to tile my hall floor in black and cream chequerboard but my hall is quite small so i need quite small tiles.

have only been to wickes so far (as get a discount there due to dp being staff) and they had lovely ones but they were 12 inches square which i think would look silly and make my hall look even smaller.

any idea where i can get some from? and i need them to be cheap-ish if poss :o

tia!

I know it sounds weird, but larger tiles in a smaller space will often make the space feel larger, particularly if they're laid diagonally as diamonds rather than squares. Too small tiles = lots of busy squares and can make a small space feel very cluttered. If I were you I'd get some samples from a floorer and play around with them first..
