Removals in London

We have a convoluted move coming up, moving from east London to south west London - via a stay in a flat locally while waiting for SW rental to be ready.

I have been asking removals companies for quotes for a move from here to storage, 4 weeks storage, then a move into new house and the quotes are varying wildly! WOuld like packing done too - what would you expect to pay?

And any recommended firms?

we moved in june in SW london and we used steve frieze removals who were great. reasonable, great "can do" attitude and really professional. they are based in croydon i think. we used them to move from streatham to tooting.

Another vote here for Steve Frieze. I moved from south east London to south west London, and the road I've moved to is a long narrow cul de sac, so they used 3 small vans instead of one large one, as it made life simpler at the 'new house' end. They packed me up the day before, and loaded the first van. The staff were all professional and caring, hard-working, and really lovely. AND, they came in at the best price as well.

Six Keys. Will probably refuse to quote without seeing how much stuff you have, but I have never been so happy to give anyone £900 for a job well done!

simplyremovals - stacked our storage perfectly and at a good price. And are based in East London.

Can definitely recommend Bushells, a family firm in SW London. Did our move last year from SW London to SE London and came in cheaper than most and with a polite, friendly attitude!
