I want a double duvet cover with stars n stripes, or big stars, or something similar

I'm looking out for a cool double duvet cover for a boys bedroom. Preferably stars and stripes, or big stars or something similar, not the Union Jack though. Has anyone seen anything that might be what I'm looking for? Don't want to spend more than £50 though, thanks!

I get all our bedding from La Redoute, 100% cotton, funky designs and really cheap! Wonder if they've got any at the mo?

Laura ashley has a lovely blue bedspread, which may be big enough, with blue background and white stars. You could combine this with cheap plain duvet sets which could be rotated for washing.

You can buy great fabris on ebay - could you make one? You could do matching curtains etc too.

My sewing machine died last month and I'm missing it already. It was about 25 years old and bought for me by my Mum when I wanted to make a skirt like Shirley in Wham.

Am I the saddest person on the planet or just the worst dressed?

Jellykat - Oh yes, it's deffo dead. It landed in the skip with a loud crash and bits fell off it. It hasn't worked properly for years but was still managing straight stitching (with strange noises) until last month.

Did you make a pink and purple rara skirt with yours too?

Heh, perfect, love that M&S one but I think the LaRedoute one is ideal, thanks!
