Any tips for getting it off?

Hiya,

Use Acetone (nail varnish remover), with clean rag.

I've done this on our PVC sills and it works, but I would add a word of caution, test it somewhere inconspicuous first of all.

Is the basin plastic or porcelain, if porcelain same as above, not sure about plastic.

Hope that helps.

I've taken it off light fittings etc with white spirit and a teaspoon or butter knife wrapped in thin cotton. So put a rag with WS over the spoon and push the paint off. Be careful not to scratch though.

You can scrape paint off hard surfaces (such as a sink or window) with the blade of a stanley knife, just like you'd scrape ice off a car windscreen.
Obviously, be v careful as the blades are extremely sharp.
