Morrisons has got loads of 2013 annuals reduced to £1.98- Peppa pig, mr tumble, Jacqueline Wilson were the ones I spotted by the til, but they had more in the books/magazine sections.
Just picked the Peppa pig one up for ds, as a reward for doing so well with his potty training. Had planned on getting him a magazine, but at a guess, it's probably a similar price
Thanks MooseyMoo, great idea.

It's DS's birthday at the end of Jan. I'm looking for a skylanders starter pack for the Wii and angry birds star wars at at for a decent price if anyone has seen any offers.
I'm totally kicking myself for not going to pick up the Skykanders I had reserved at £25 so now have it in my head that that's how much it costs and can't bring myself to pay £50!!

I have bought a couple of these £7.50 from £30, there is £3.50 delivery too, but I thought they would be a nice present for some one next year.
Not for presents but I've just ordered a draper electric screwdriver and 45 piece screwdriver and plier set for £9 each in the Asda direct sale.

It was said on another thread that the boots 75% starts next wed 18th Jan. Not sure what they will be reducing though, very little left at my local stores.
That playmobil police thing is at ELC too.
The boots 75% clearance is usually not for another week or two, and has always been on a Wednesday.

Thanks MooseyMoo... Just ordered a bit from mothercare for presents.
I just went into Sainsburys and they have a third of all their baby stuff (bottles, teats, food, nappies, wipes)
Random question but for any of you that bought the bargain pillow pet from home bargains, have you tried washing it yet? No washing instructions on the label and wasn't sure whether it came out okay?
Thanks
I've used this website loads for the baby blankets but they have got a few bargains in the sale
I've got the home bargains pillow pet (ladybird) and its already lost one of its its antenna and quite a few areas are looking a little frayed so have put it away until my LO is a bit older and been to mothercare and bought an official one which is bigger and they are doing them at the moment for £12. Personally I would be worried about washing it!
Thanks starjoules. It's looking okay at the moment but think it'll need washing soon. I've just had a look on the pillow pets website and it advises putting it in a white pillowcase and washing on a cold cycle.
Thanks for starting this Moosey. I'd have been bereft with no bargain thread for the new year!
Does anyone have a book people free postage code please?
Anyone got a book people free delivery code?
Amazon are selling crabtree and evelyn handcream gift set for £9 (usually £17-£18). I checked camelcamel and this is the lowest price it has ever been. I bought one for my mum for Christmas when they dropped to £12 and she loves it. It contains 6 different 25g handcreams so a nice way to try all the types for any crabtree and evelyn fans. It is not the christmas packaging set either so would make a lovely gift for all year round.
Can only find Free delivery if you spend £25 for Book People and Red House is spend £15. There must be one soon though...
Thank you CailinRua, just go the crabtree set to put away. Wonders at what point I will never have to buy a present again as I don't think I know enough people to give all of this too!
Have bought a few bits from debenhams online, including this Joseph Joseph chopping board for £5.10.
There is free del with debenhams but no other codes.
Got a few pyrex bits to, buy they are not for gifts, just for clumsy people with stone floors like me
I need a constant supply in my house!
Thanks moosey

to whoever posted on the Argos sale upthread, managed to reserve the last stunt remote control car left at my local store, picked it up yesterday and it looks fab- great saving!
Couldn't find them on the website but for anyone who's DC like 'Everything's Rosie' when I popped into Sainsbury's yesterday they had this jigsaw for under 2.50 (2.39 or there abouts) and this playset for under 1.50 (1.25 I think)!
LaTrucha again not online, but in Home and Bargain yesterday they had dressing up costumes (nurse, policeman, fairy, pirate plus afew others I can't remember) for 4.99, might be worth a look if you have one near you.

Argos are doing the silver cross dolls buggy for 2.99, it's really lovely!

Peppa Pig moulding play soap/foam in a can in Poundland (£2.25 in Waitrose) and Disney Princess colouring pencils, also from Poundland.
Remember the WHSmith digital photo keyrings we were all after before Christmas? They have them in-store for £3.99, so that's my niece's bday gift partially sorted! I think that is the same price they were online before Christmas but I wasn't quick enough then
. I looked for the Gruffalo set Oreo but couldn't see them instore sadly.
Just found some great new Pandora charms. I need to drop a few hints for valentines day.

link: John Greed
I've bought quite a few bits of jewellery from them and never had any problems
Argos have playdoh sweet shop gadgets and sweet shop doh half price. (2.49 and 1.49) Just bought 4 of each for friends birthday parties. Works out at under £4 for the gadget and the extra dough. Nicely packaged and looks more expensive than it is. Dds little friends will love it.
I bought an Eve Lom gift set in John Lewis for a present. It was £48. I caNt remember the original price but it was at least £20 quid off. F
I can't see it on the website though.
Polly Pocket Flip N Fun Hotel, £24.99 instead of £49.99 at amazon, argos have it too in store only but I couldn't get it at my local store, nor could I get it at home bargains.
Dorothy Perkins, not as much in the sale now but I waited until they were offering up to 70% off plus additional 15% off at checkout, then I did a search and found a 10% off code which worked, £152 of clothes for £40, jumpers and cardigans all round for everyone next christmas, including one for myself now.
I got rolls of 4m wrapping paper from M&S last year for 25p a roll and used a free delivery code but couldn't get any this year but Tesco Direct had 5m rolls for 63p so stocked up on xmas paper and plain foil colours for all year round as well as a few gift sets reduced to £3 and also some cheap xmas ornaments - which make ideal gifts as no one really knows what you've spent. Oh and crackers.
Matalan and George at Asda were great for odds and ends and more clothing and slippers to put away which were all half price or less.
Last year it was pjs all round with Next reducing them from £25 to £10 but this year all I got from Next was some boots for myself from £25 to £8, sunglasses and boxers for DH birthday.
Oh just taken delivery of a parcel (how exciting!), last christmas DD5 wanted one of those doll sets where you get a high chair, baby carrier, baby seat etc but I needed one without a pushchair and I found one at Very and K&co but by the time I decided just to get one they went out of stock so I have kept a look out and they got them back in and on sale at £12.50 + £3.99 delivery at Very and £15.50 with free delivery at K&co. It changes from a high chair to baby chair to baby carrier to swing, it has very few pieces and folds up and doesnt take up too much space. Lovely pink colour, quality seems great and easy enough for an adult to clip together. I couldn't see them on the website before but if anyone is interested I would keep an eye out, much better than the £34.99 I was going to pay for Baby Born brand. This one is the Lissi brand and was a bargain at full price but both times i've seen it, it has been on sale.
Instore at Toysrus we've just found the Zhuzhu hamster battle jet with a hamster included for just two quid. Have bought several for 5 year old boy birthdays. Probably too random for most of you, but just in case!
LittleMouse Thank you so much for the Play Doh tip. Perfect for a 3rd bday party present my DD is going to soon. Tried to get more than 1 but only 1 left in my local store.

Made DP and I momenterally broody, but I'm getting another dog, so we will have to wait a bit longer! Very excited about a new baby to squish though
.
that's an amazing price for the KidKraft house. If we didn't already have one I'd be tempted!

ELC are doing free delivery if you phone them with your order on 0871 231 3513, I rang them as I was having a problem with ordering via the website and they said at the moment they are charging for website orders but not for orders placed over the phone.
They also had something in stock which the website didn't have and another item that mothercare website had but elc didn't!

starjules, Sainsbury's have Furbys reduced to £29.99 instore. That was advertised 2 days ago, so I would go quickly to see if they are still in stock.
Asda had them at £32 odd the week before, so it does look like they are/will be being reduced all over 'cos they are scary
.
Hi all
Sorry no codes but have DD1 and DD2s birthdays coming up (4 and 2) so seeing if anyone can help! Looking to get some art and craft stuff for them both (grandparents are buying storage draws on wheels so we're looking to put some stuff in there).
DD1 is also getting really into the Disney princesses so anything along that theme would also be good.
Thank you and hopefully I'll provide some codes soon
I noticed on Amazon there was a game version of the Draw Something app so I ordered it for £6 on Saturday, it's £15 today but I expect it may come back down in price. Doubt it will be worth the RRP of £19.99 but at £6 I thought it was enough to pay.
George at Asda put another sale on and I stocked up on yet more knitwear for the family, fine knit for fathers day £4, chunky knit for DH for xmas £5, long sleeve tops £3 each amongst other things. Had free delivery as well but would have been worth paying as my local stores never have anything decent on sale or if they do I can't get the size.
Noticed mister makers bumper craft box was half price at £10 on amazon.
Ah, here you all are.
ilove are you near a poundland? I found a Disney princess stationery set and Disney Fairies version
My DD (2.9) loves stamp sets. I bought some rubber stamps but found them not very good. I've got some wooden stamps now and much better. Bit like this Melissa &Doug version
Thanks MooseyMoo. I got her some stamps like that or Christmas which have been a success, but they fight over the ink so maybe another set for DD2 would be a good idea!
Will venture into town to get to the poundland.
I've found a game on amazon called soundtracks which gets great reviews so going to get that for DD2 and princess book for DD1. Annoyed you don't get nectar points on amazon purchases now!
You prob already have this but I've been eyeing up an Orchard Game called Shopping List for DD's third bday. Looks really good (and I might even enjoy playing it too)

I was browsing on Very.co.uk and noticed a karaoke machine reduced from £65 to £50, which I thought was great as wanting one for DD and can pay in 3 monthly payments without interest being charged. Did a search for a discount code though didn't expect to find one as usually only available to new customers unless they post a code out to you which i've benefited from in the past ranging from between £10 and £30 discount. To my surprise I found a code for £20 off when spending £50 and valid for existing customers. The code is displayed on the website but I didn't even notice it until I read about it being there when I searched for a code. DH has an account too so expect we will get something else! The code is 397UL valid till 22nd march.
Lots of up to date codes on this discount group here: www.facebook.com/groups/611179132229047/?fref=ts
