Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

A v-shaped pillow could work.

I just used to prop dd up against the hood

a rolled-up blanket behind her helped a bit too

eventually she fell asleep anyway so you need to be able to get whatever you use out without waking her

like this

might be a bit wide for a carrycot, i suppose, but if you could wedge it, then it might provide even more support?

do you mean sat up upright, or just not lying totally flat?

there are wedge pillows you can get for babies, am sure I have seen them

or alternatively, if you mean upright, maybe a bf type pillow around her bum +lower back for support?
DD is 7 months old and can sit up but not so steadily, I'd like to continuue to use her carrycot after 6 months, Ive got a harness for it but can you buy something to put in it tio help her keep sat up?

Thanks x

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
