I have recently bought GHD hair straighteners which are fantastic but my very old pot of hair serum has nearly run out. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a good hair serum to get? I have tried a hair straighening gel but find it makes my hair dry and sticky so need a good serum instead. Any recommendations would be fab.

the ONLY thing i have found that works on my hair is VO5 "straight hair". it doesnt make it sticky or heavy and you only need a tiny bit....its worked better than all the expensive things ive tried. citre shine do a nice serum if serum is specifically what you're after but i cant remember exactly what its called.

not sure if you want something you put on your wet hair or after you have straightened it. I've been using Trevor Sorbie serum "rejuvenate" which has cashmere & silk in and you put on dry hair. Stops it frizzing and makes it so soft. Brilliant.
