We tend to go for just the plain ones, and have a logoed jumper.

I've got my ds1 logo ones but they are only £5 each. He starts part time in Sept so i got logo ones for now then i'll see what most of the school wear for next time.

mine had a logo shirt for concerts, high days and holy days and plain shirts for all the other days.

The sweatshirt is logoed so in the winter you can't tell anyway.

I only buy plain polo shirts. The logo shirts are so expensive and ours are white so they get stained easily. And I've shrunk them in the wash a couple of times when I've put them on too high a temperature.

i didn't get ds any logo'd ones as ours are 8.50 for one! They only get trashed in reception anyway. Ds got 1 logo'd sweatshirt, for trips and photo day, i bought navy v neck jumpers from tesco instead for everyday, at £2 each, they look smarter too, and wont run/fade in the wash.

Plain, because they get stained and wrecked so easily (they don't wear painting aprons at our school). I have one for everyday, so I can just wash at weekends, if I'd have bought logoed ones, it would be £40 -eek.
I have Asda ones as they do nice girly ones in red (M&S and school ones are unisex).

Plain perfectly acceptable and most of the children will have the same. If you/school are fussy you could get just one logo one for school photos/concerts etc.

Plain - I have bought logo ones before, and of course they are always the ones that get worn for the messiest art work in the first week....

I've bought plain ones from Sainsbury's, Tesco, M&S and Asda, and in my experience Sainsbury's are the best quality - still more or less in the right shape after two years.

I bought plain ones from M&S (3 packs for 2) and DS wore the logoed jumper over the top.

Ours are also white and on the days its hot and they don't need jumpers he comes home rotten

Plain. Without a doubt.

Our school is four years old. In the first year, about 80% of the children had logo-ed polo shirts.

I noticed one in the playground today and it looked really weird. I realised it is the first one I've seen for a long, long time!!! Everyone has gradually realised they are frankly too expensive and too prone to getting trashed with spaghetti bolognese/paint/mud.

Buy one for school photo day if you like. But they'll probably wear their jumpers anyway!

We get plain ones only, which is unusual in their school. But I explained to them why, and they are OK with that. Lots of kids in their school get one new logo-ed polo every 3 years, and they are digusting and grey and gross. I would like them ALL to have plain polos, so everyone buys a new pack of 3 every year and just throws them out when they get worn out or grubby.

We could afford to buy all logo-ed, but I don't on principal, because other people in the school couldn't afford to.
