Small proud moment had to tell someone

DD who loves swimming, swims twice a week and what's to join the swim club (got to be a better swimmer first).
She's had a bad neck for the last six weeks and the swimming went out the window, her teacher was just talking to me about the fact that her swimming has suffer because of her bad neck. I agreed but told her I hoped it would get better again but didn't feel it was fair to stop her swimming because of her neck when swimming is her big love. Her teacher didn't look sure.
Came out of her lesson grimming for ear to ear. 'Mum guess what if your right if I hold the glide on my breast stroke I go faster'. She been told this for months by her teachers and we have had lots of question about why, but she has never quite got it. So she just had a lesson with some of her best swimming yet. That will show her teacher. She's so chuffed, she sees it as one step closer to training with the swim club.
