How many 'teachers' do your children have in primary school?

We were preparing bottles of wine for ds1 and ds2's class teachers, and I remembered that from time to time their classes are taught be other members of staff, and I wondered whether we should acknowledge them as well. This is what I discovered:

Both have French with a specialist French teacher every week.
Both have Music with a specialist French teacher every week.
Both have IT with one of two specialist IT teachers every week.
DS2 has Science with a teacher who covers PPA every week.
DS1 has topic/art/RE with a teacher who covers PPA every week.
DS1 has PSHE/PE with a teacher who covers mgt time every fortnight (his class teacher is Deputy Head)
DS1 is also in sets for Maths/English, so has English lessons with the other yr6 teacher.

In addition ds2 also has a guitar teacher and a piano teacher for lessons.

I think I'll give up now
I'm also wondering what their class teachers actually do teach them for?!

Virtually the opposite here.

Both DS2+DS3 taught by deputy head, and occasionally the Head. PPA time covered by one of the three TAs, and the Head teaches some lessons too.

They do both have a music lesson once a week, provided by peripatetic teachers.

There is one other teacher in the junior half of the school.

There are three teachers in the infant half of the school (two are pt .6).

The school bursar used to provide their after-school language club.

I would suggest a nice bit box of nice biscuits or sweets for the staff room. That way everyone gets some.

Lots and lots. We give the whole staff (teachers and everyone else) a box of biscuits

DS in reception has two teachers and three regular teaching assistants. They all got a pretty candle from Sanctuary's range which Boots had three for two

DD, in reception, has specialist teachers for French, IT, Music and gym. They each contributed their own bit to her term report.

However we've only given African Violet plants (DD decorated the ceramic pots)to her teacher and TA.

DS has two teachers in his reception class who job share. Plus there are two teaching assistants.
