Hi - does anyone know if you get into a school based on your location and then subsequently move if that would change the decision as won't have started new school.

It will only be a couple of miles - but where we are now guarantees a place and where we will move to does not.

Many thanks

This question gets asked fairly regularly. The offer cannot be taken away simply because you move. However, the LA may well take a look at what has happened. If they conclude that the application was fraudulent or deliberately misleading they can take away the place even after the child has started school. For a genuine move that should not be a problem.
