I have been feeling ok and kind of looking forward to DS starting as he is almost five and really ready for it. But when I was labelling uniforms yesterday I found myself having a little weep! I am really going to miss not just having my little friend at home, but also the whole pre-school era, pottering round shops, going to the swings etc. Doesn't help I am feeling pretty broody too! Anyone else have this milestone to get over?

Me too. DD is really excited but won't know anyone at all at her new school.
I'm worrying about all the little things - finding the toilet, carrying her lunch tray, getting changed for PE and all that. I'm getting teary just thinking about it!
The school and her teacher are absolutely lovely, I've no doubt that she will have a great time, it's just those first few days...

Thanks Sam :)

More, yes the first few days will be hard I think! DS has trouble settling into new routines so I really hope he does ok.
