My daughter is going into Y2 in September. Can anyone recommend some good resources that I can use at home to help her?

Your voice. Your ears. Your time, and the local library Smile

Reading challenge through your local library.

Get some nice craft activities to do together- usbourne have aome lovely books like this.

Grow something like cress on a window sill.

Make a weather vane and record the weather. Or make a rainfall catcher and do the same.

Bake and cook following instructions, weighing and measuring foods.

Wrote shopping lists for the weekly shop.

You'll need to be a bit more specific.

Is she struggling in any areas? And that's why you want to help her?

Or is she doing fine but you want to make her life easier next year?

Most children don't need to do any work to prepare them for Y2....

There's a free online resource called the school run. A very cheap subscription gets you access to more.

Thanks for that. She's not struggling, I just want to help her all that I can because her school make a huge thing about SATs.
