There is a possible chance that we may be repatriating back to the UK, Enfield in particular and would greatly appreciate some guidence to the schools in and around the area. First hand knowledge is always better than ofstead reports

Enfield in general has some very good primary schools. Is there a specific area you are looking at? This document shows the catchment for this years primary applications and in general those that did not go out very far are generally the more sought after schools.

There were some odd goings on involving Cuckoo Hall Academies trust which runs several schools in Enfield . If you google "Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust" you will after their own web site, see some interesting hits.

Its not usual for a school to threaten parents with legal action for criticising the school..

I'd check your application deadlines, e.g. for primary schools to enter this September coming you needed to be in the UK for mid-January to be "inside" the usual round; otherwise you apply out-of -year, where you will still get offered places but they are less likely to be at the schools you want. Many areas have exceptions for certain relocating families (army and diplomatic corps). If you are relocating and renting, you could try and rent right inside the catchment of the primary school you most wanted.
