We have a 7+ offer to join Highgate, but aren't convinced we'd want to keep our DS there until 18. I know the point of going there is to stay until 18, but we might opt to board instead, or we might feel he'd do better at a single sex school. But I get the sense the school would be furious if we even mentioned trying to leave; they firmly expect you to move on to the senior school.
Has anyone tried to leave Highgate at 13+ to another school? Would the school show any support if this is what you decided to do?
