French parents with children in the english system

Hi,
Are there any french or french educated parents who chose to put their children in the private english system and had them follow the CNED on the side? I am considering this option more and more for my daughter as I feel the english system offers more at that age.
Apart from the academic element, I like that children are encouraged to think outside the box in the english system and to get involved in extracurricular activities like sports, music and arts. My question is did you find that the CNED was sufficient for your kids to master the French grammar and vocabulary? This is really what I worry about. The oral part will be fine as french is our only language at home. Also do you think your children would transition well to the french system for secondary school if they were to make that choice or if you went back to France?
I am starting to look at bilingual schools too but am not totally convinced yet.
Thanks

Not sure if you know but there is a French bilingual school in Bromley called la Fontaine. It is meant to be an amazing school and have heard only positive things about the school
