Admission experts please- how are two singletons siblings treated with regards to admissions acceptance?

If it comes to it, are two singletons given the same 'excepted' status as twins when entering Reception class? Might I end up with two different schools? Any advice gratefully received. Smile

Are they in the same school year?

No I'm afraid not. It is possible that one could get in and the other ends up at a different school, particularly if they are in different admissions categories, e.g. if one is formerly looked after and the other isn't.

It would be the same category (sibling). I think they are fairly safe for that reason but we had a big shock 2 years with ds1 and his middle school application and waiting list crisis etc. I just wanted to be reassured a bit. It's so stressful.
